The 2024 race is coming into focus this week after Republican entrance runner Donald Trump’s victory in New Hampshire introduced him one step nearer to the GOP’s presidential nomination. However his ultimate main opponent, former South Carolina Governor Nikki Haley, has rejected calls to drop out of the race and continued to marketing campaign in her house state. President Joe Biden and Vice President Kamala Harris have additionally ramped up their marketing campaign, making reproductive rights a central theme of their reelection efforts.

In the meantime, the destiny of a bipartisan border-security deal, which Republican lawmakers had insisted upon earlier than contemplating extra funding for Ukraine and Israel, has been difficult by Trump’s opposition to the deal.
